Also created a Facebook page for it. So, if you like what you read here, you can get updates on Facebook by 'Like' ing the link above or on right under 'Follow Me on Facebook'.

How to Verify Technorati claim

Most bloggers want their blog to be added to Technorati’s Blog Directory, but verifying claim token looks tedious and intimidating especially for start-up bloggers. Here are the simple steps I followed
STEP 1
I will assume that you already register, verified, claim your site at the bottom section and received your claim token code in your e-mail.
STEP 2
Make a blog post with the claim token code. In my case, they sent me this code RUGNRX47JMMU
STEP 3
Publish your post. Ensure that your feed is active.
STEP 4
Log-on to your Technorati account and click ‘check claim’ for your blog.
STEP 5
“Your Blog is yours!” :)

Bandana Bib : Tutorial

This weekend I made a bandana bib for my son. He is quite a drooler and would probably drool for a while. As he is too old to wear regular bibs all the time, bandana bib does the job and it looks more like  a stylish scarf. So, instead of buying anymore bandana bibs, I decided to make few on my own. I got some fabric in nice boys prints, one of them being the dinosaur one, ofcourse.

Stuff you would need:

  • Fabric for the front of bib. I chose flannel as it absorbs very good
  • Fabric for lining, preferably, waterproof cloth. The fabric for lining the cloth diapers should also work.
  • Thread for sewing
  • Sewing machine
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape

How To:

Step 1: Cut a triangle(13*13*17) from the flannel and lining fabric, both of same size.

Step 2: Place both the triangles with wrong sides together and fold around 1/2 inch of both the fabrics together on the back side and sew it on all 3 sides.

Step 3: Attach velcro : With the front facing you, add 3 small squares of rough side of velcro on the right side of the bandana.

Step 4: With the back side of bib facing you, add a strip of fuzzy side of velcro on the right side.

Step 5: Bandana bib is ready for your little one.
